The story follows four British Pevensie siblings, who are evacuated to the countryside during the flash, where they find a closet that leads to the fantasy world of Narnia. Directed by Andrew Adamson, it was mainly shot in New Zealand, although filming locations were used in Poland, the Czech Republic, and thus in Great Britain. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, supporting the novel of an equivalent title, is the first film in the series.
